Montreal | Three people stabbed in a few hours

Three people were stabbed in the space of a few hours in Montreal, during two separate events that occurred overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday.

First, around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday evening, two men in their twenties were attacked with knives in Le Plateau-Mont-Royal.

The police located the bloodied victims on Saint-Laurent Boulevard, near Prince-Arthur Street. Both men were taken to hospital where their lives are not believed to be life threatening.

It seems that a conflict which degenerated between the victims and three suspects was at the origin of this attack. These are currently being sought.

Then, around 4:50 a.m. Wednesday morning, the employee of a gas station on Boulevard Marcel-Laurin, in the borough of Saint-Laurent, was also attacked with a knife.

According to initial information, a suspect entered the business before passing to the other side of the counter. It was then that he began stabbing the victim, who suffered several injuries to his upper body.

The attacker fled before the police arrived. A security perimeter has been erected.

The employee, whose age was not given, was taken to the hospital. At the time of writing, his condition was unknown.
