Shots rang out in the borough of Saint-Laurent, in Montreal, on Sunday evening. No one would have been injured during this event.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., calls were made to 911 concerning gunshots heard on rue Petit, near rue Lanthier.
“On the spot, the police located several bullet holes on a residence on rue Petit. Cartridges were also found on the ground, ”said agent Véronique Comtois, spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
A security perimeter has been erected. SPVM investigators will analyze the scene in order to clarify the circumstances of this event.
