The summer season is in full swing in Montreal, which welcomes approximately 11 million visitors each year. Whether they come from abroad, a neighboring province or even Quebec, many of them take part in guided tours to discover the metropolis. Artisans from “Le Devoir” have also joined in the fun to make you want to (re)discover Montreal from a different perspective.
Who has never dreamed of taking a lap on the Formula 1 track of the Gilles-Villeneuve circuit at full speed? Of being able to stop in the middle of the Jacques-Cartier Bridge to admire the view and observe the port facilities at work? Of learning more about the history of Montreal’s eclectic buildings, from 17th-century French architecturee century to Art Deco, including the brutalism of Habitat 67?

Departure of a guided bike tour of Montreal organized by “Ça roule Montréal” with guide Marie-Hélène Lemay.
This is in any case what the bicycle allows, a means of transportation used by the company Ça roule Montréal during some of its guided tours, including “Panorama Architecture”. The three-hour ride, including many stops, offers a great introduction to the history of Montreal through its most important infrastructures. While the more athletic can opt for a standard bicycle, the electric bike is also offered as an option. Specific tours are organized for families with young children. The company, founded in Montreal, has existed for more than twenty-five years.
