Montreal: obstacles on the road to be expected throughout the weekend

Automobile traffic will be hampered on several roads in the greater Montreal area during the weekend.

In downtown Montreal, the Ville-Marie Expressway will be closed westbound between Panet Street and the Lucien-L’Allier Street entrance from Sunday 10 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m. A detour is suggested by the Ministère des Transports (MTQ) via avenue Viger, boulevard Robert-Bourassa and rue Saint-Antoine Ouest.

The A-25 bridge, connecting Longueuil to Montreal, will have two lanes out of three closed southbound between exit 3 (rue Notre-Dame) and the end of the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel from Sunday 8 p.m. Monday 5 a.m. The Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel, meanwhile, will have two lanes out of three closed in both directions from Friday 10:30 p.m. to Saturday 7:30 a.m.

The Lachapelle bridge, spanning the Rivière des Prairies, will have one lane out of three closed from Friday 8 p.m. to Saturday 5 a.m. and from Sunday 8 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m. Finally, the eastbound Jacques Cartier Bridge will have one lane in two closed from Sunday 10:30 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m. due to work.

In Laval, the ramp for Autoroute 15 north of Autoroute 440 westbound will be closed from Sunday 9 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.

On the South Shore, Highway 20 in Beloeil will have one lane out of two closed km 112, before the Arthur-Branchaud bridge from Friday 9 p.m. to Saturday 5 a.m. For the same highway, exit 113 (Mont-Saint-Hilaire / chemin des Patriotes / Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu) at Mont-Saint-Hilaire will be closed from Sunday 9 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m. Finally, exit 95 (boulevard de Montarville) of the same highway in Boucherville will have two lanes out of three closed from Friday 9:30 p.m. to Saturday 8 a.m.
