The 45-year-old woman was seriously injured after the accident on Saturday shortly before midnight, at the corner of Boulevard Henri-Bourassa and Avenue Salk. However, we do not fear for his life. The victim was running north, despite a red light.

It was at this point that the driver of a car hit her. The 48-year-old man was driving westbound on Boulevard Henri-Bourassa Est while the traffic light was green. He was taken to hospital for nervous shock.
