(Montreal) A rescue operation is underway in the borough of Montréal-Nord after a “possible collapse” occurred in a building late Saturday afternoon located at the corner of Boulevard Rolland and Rue Pascal.
According to initial information provided by the Montreal City Police Department, which is assisting the Montreal Fire Department in this operation, emergency services were contacted shortly before 4 p.m.
Two people are possibly trapped in the rubble.
The police are on site to control car traffic and curious people between Maurice-Duplessis and Pascal streets.
