(Montreal) A man was found seriously injured in the borough of Montreal-North, Friday evening, after being possibly the victim of an armed attack.
The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) claims to have received a call around 9:20 p.m. for an armed attack that occurred on avenue des Laurentides, near rue Sabrevois.
When they arrived at the scene, officers found the man in his twenties injured in the upper body, possibly by a sharp object.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital, police said, adding that they are awaiting an update on his condition.
According to the SPVM, at least two suspects fled in an unknown direction before the arrival of the police. An investigation is underway to shed light on this event.
