Montreal Metro | Service interruption on the orange line

The morning rush hour promises to be difficult for Montreal public transportation. Metro service is interrupted in the central portion of the orange line, between Beaubien and Lionel-Groulx stations.

The Société de transport de Montréal announced the interruption around 7:50 a.m. An intervention by emergency medical services forced the suspension of service, specifies the carrier’s website. This invites people trying to get around the city center to instead use the green line or the surface bus network.

Service is scheduled to resume around 8:50 a.m.

More details to come.
