Montreal LPHF team trades Tereza Vanisova to Ottawa for Amanda Boulier

The Montreal team announced that it had traded forward Tereza Vanisova to the Ottawa team on Monday in exchange for defender Amanda Boulier in the Professional Women’s Hockey League (LPHF).

The LPHF trade deadline was 6 p.m. Monday.

Vanisova was selected by Montreal in the seventh round of the LPHF draft and played 17 games with the team this season, the first in league history. The forward scored two goals and added eight assists.

Aged 28, Vanisova signed a two-season contract with Montreal.

For her part, Boulier was selected in the 13th round by the Ottawa squad and agreed to a one-year contract.

In 17 games, Boulier found the back of the net once and had five assists.

The two players have already played together, with the Boston Pride in the National Women’s Hockey League (former professional hockey league).

Vanisova will represent the Czech Republic at the Women’s World Hockey Championship, April 3-14, for the seventh time in her career.
