The facts took place at the Édouard-Montpetit high school, located in the borough of Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, last November, reported Wednesday morning on 98.5 FM.
On the audio recording made by a student, we can hear the secondary two teacher making deeply disturbing remarks.
The teacher uses foul, sacred language and insults 14 and 15 year olds. The footage has circulated extensively on social media.
Here are the words of the teacher:
“Go get dog-dog. Do you like it that I treat you the same? Stay here! Don’t give a shit, stay here!” yells the male teacher. “There, you are going to speak to the world like humans, did you understand that, osti? Did you understand it? Criss of cracking face! I told you at the beginning of the year. Your cracking face osti, keep it to yourself! Because really hard and worse pissed off. You the same, osti. Don’t say a damn word. There, work, osti, for once in your life, cuddle. It is sure that you will be on the BS later, it is obvious. When you’re 58, I can’t wait to see you face down. You, at 25, are going to have a shriveled face, like my dog’s behind, tabarnouche, faque stop talking, osti. I can’t wait to see your face, I’ll call my friends to laugh at you. There, don’t talk to me during a cuddle. Work and don’t disgust me.”
The teacher had two days of suspension, but he is still in office, confirmed the Center de services scolaire de Montréal (CSSDM) to TVA Nouvelles.
“Under no circumstances are we tolerating this kind of inadmissible remarks. […] The school administration acted immediately upon being informed of the situation last fall. Management has made the necessary disciplinary interventions,” CSSDM press relations manager Alain Perron told TVA Nouvelles.
