Montreal | Gunshots in Saint-Léonard

Explosions were heard in Saint-Léonard in Montreal on Monday evening, where a pedestrian fired at a moving car. Police report no injuries.

The shots were fired in the middle of the evening, around 8:30 p.m., on a small residential stretch of rue de Cluny, between boulevard Robert and rue Aramis, in the borough of Saint-Léonard in Montreal.

According to initial information from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), a pedestrian fired on a moving car. He would then have fled, as well as the persons targeted. The identity of the shooter and the victims is therefore not known at this time. No injuries were reported to emergency services.

The police found casings at the crime scene which was protected to allow analysis. Investigators are on the scene to try to understand the circumstances of the event.
