The deception was discovered Wednesday morning in the Côte-des-Neiges district by employees of the Sustainable Mobility Agency (AMD), which reported it a few hours later on its twitter account.
“We have noticed that a fraudulent sticker has been installed on some of our terminals. Be careful, the Agency did not affix these stickers whose QR code redirects to a fraudulent site, ”indicated the AMD.

In fact, soon after, the link was down, says agency spokeswoman Alicia Lymburner.

So far, the agency has only found these stickers on two parking lots.
“As there was a malicious intent behind it, we still decided to inform the population,” she adds.

The AMD would not have received any complaints from citizens on this subject, affirms Mme Lymburner.
