This year, the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation granted financial support to 41 community organizations across Quebec, in order to support projects encouraging a healthy lifestyle through physical activity among young people aged 4 to 17. .
Pierre Boivin, Chairman of the Board of the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation, is accompanied by the Foundation’s General Manager, Geneviève Paquette, David Lemieux, Vice-President and General Manager at Desjardins Securities, and the President of Alumni Canadians, Réjean Houle.
Some donations help nearly 15,000 young people. The director of Camp Mère Clarac, Cindy Lajeunesse, is accompanied by Sister Jacinthe Caron, the director general of École Marie-Clarac, and the voice of the Canadiens, Michel Lacroix.
Marie-Andrée Lefebvre, from the Urban Health Foundation, is accompanied by Mélanie Lemieux, from Points jeunesse du Granit, Linda Bell, from Sun Youth, and Isabelle Lucier, from Édouard-Laurin Elementary School.
The donations were distributed during a check presentation ceremony. Geneviève Morand and Christine Landry, from Espace Multisoleil, are surrounded by Steve Joseph and Alexandre St-Arnaud, from the Foundation for the Blind.
