After a fire that occurred Friday evening in Mont-Royal, the Montreal police are called to investigate the origin of the fire.
It was around 10 p.m. Friday that a fire broke out in the Aviron Technical Institute of Montreal, located on Royalmount Avenue.
When firefighters arrived, the flames had largely been extinguished by the establishment’s sprinklers, according to information from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
“The firefighters found elements that suggest that the fire is of criminal origin,” said Véronique Comtois, spokesperson for the SPVM.
No arrests have yet been made in the case. The origin of the flames is still not known.
