A man in his thirties was stabbed Saturday in the Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension borough in Montreal.
A call was made around 12:45 p.m. to 911 concerning an assault that occurred in a dwelling on Pie-IX Boulevard, near 47e Street.
At the scene, emergency services located a 35-year-old man injured by a blunt or sharp object. The victim was taken to hospital, but there are no fears for his life.
The suspect reportedly fled before police arrived. At this time, the circumstances of the incident remain unknown and the scene has been secured for investigators.
