Mihail Saramanou, 89, was last seen at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough. He reportedly has hearing problems, suffers from dementia and may be disoriented. Investigators would have reason to fear for his health and safety.

Currently, he could be on the island of Montreal and the borough of Plateau-Mont-Royal. He would move on foot and might not be wearing a coat.

The octogenarian is around 1.75m tall and weighs around 63kg. He has white skin, gray hair and hazel eyes. He speaks French and English with difficulty. He was last seen wearing an unspecified color coat, black shirt, blue pants and black shoes. He would also carry a small bag.

Police did not provide a photograph of the man.
