(Montreal) The Montreal Alouettes traded Canadian running back Jeshrun Antwi to the British Columbia Lions on Wednesday for a third-round pick in the 2025 CFL draft.
Antwi had been with the Alouettes since the 2021 campaign. In four seasons with the team, he played 61 games. He had 1,025 yards on 191 carries. The 26-year-old would become a free agent next February.
“I thank Jeshrun for his service to our team,” said Alouettes general manager Danny Maciocia in a press release. He had a good attitude, and I wish him the best of luck for the rest of his career. »
