An altercation between several young people ended in at least one shot in the Dollard-des-Ormeaux district, in Montreal, on the night of Saturday to Sunday.

The incident occurred around 11:10 a.m. at the corner of Hyman and Sunnybrooke streets. According to witnesses questioned by the Montreal police, the argument would have ended when an individual then fired at least once in the air.
All would have left the scene before the arrival of the police who, however, located a casing on Sunnybrooke Boulevard.
A perimeter was set up around the scene where a dog handler and investigators went to try to clarify the circumstances of the event.
