The Quartier des Spectacles will host from August 24 to November 10 Espace René-Lévesque in Montreal: the journey of an exceptional man. Signed Daniel Fortin, the layout will consist of an exhibition, a video projection and a short documentary film on the former Premier of Quebec, born August 24, 1922.
The exhibition will consist of eight zones that correspond to the main stages of René Lévesque’s life. An explanatory narrative of the exhibition, which can be listened to using a smart phone, will be offered free of charge.
Also, the short film something like a big man, by Luc Cyr, will be presented at Place des Arts. The video projection will be offered in the evening. It brings together images captured by Yousuf Karsh, the famous Canadian portrait photographer, which will be broadcast on one of the facades of the President-Kennedy pavilion at the Université du Québec à Montréal.
