(Montreal) The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) is investigating a mysterious attack after the discovery of a man left on the side of Highway 15 in the north of Montreal.
Emergency services were called to go Saturday evening, around 7:30 p.m., to Highway 15 North near the Salaberry exit, in Montreal, where the individual was seen.
He was transported to a hospital, where his condition stabilized and there was no longer any fear for his life.
“According to initial information, the victim was left on the side of the highway after being injured,” confirmed Nicolas Scholtus, SQ information officer.
“It is a man and the injuries were apparently inflicted by a sharp object,” he said.
The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
“We dispatched an investigator and the forensic identification service to establish the circumstances of this event,” underlined Mr. Scholtus.
The SQ investigation continues.
