A business in Saint-Léonard, Montreal, was targeted Thursday morning by arson, the second in the space of 24 hours.
The police were called around 4 a.m. for an arson fire that broke out in the Ciociaro Sports Bar & Grill establishment located near Langelier and Lavoisier boulevards.
When the police arrived on the scene, firefighters from the Montreal Fire Department (SIM) had already brought the fire under control.
Due to incendiary objects that were found at the scene, the investigation was entrusted to the arson section of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
According to preliminary information, suspects were seen setting fire to the commercial building, before fleeing.
No one was injured and no arrests were made, said SPVM spokeswoman Jeanne Drouin, adding that the damage caused to the business was minor.
The same business was the target of another arson fire on Wednesday morning, also causing minor damage.
