An 11-year-old girl who has been missing since Sunday evening is currently being sought by Montreal police.
Jahan Mamun was last seen around 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Bélanger and François-Boivin streets, in the borough of Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. The authorities and his family say they have reason to fear for his safety because of his “bad company”.
The missing girl is 130 cm (4 ft 3 in) tall and speaks French. She has white skin with a dark complexion, brown eyes and brown hair.
At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a short gray sweater above her navel, gray pants and black shoes.
