Montérégie | A sixty-year-old woman dies in a collision in Saint-Pie

A woman died from her injuries following a collision that occurred Wednesday on Route 235 in Saint-Pie, Montérégie.


The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) indicates that the accident occurred around 10:30 a.m. between a car and a van.

Initial information indicates that the driver of the car, a 67-year-old woman, failed to stop at a mandatory stop sign, which led to the collision with the van.

The woman was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

A police reconstructionist was dispatched to the scene to understand the causes and circumstances of this tragedy, the SQ said.
