From 3 to 5 and from 10 to 12 December, several artisans will be present inside the church as well as on the ground outside to offer their products. Sheds have also been built to accommodate exhibitors who will be outside.

“Inside, we will find craftsmen showing creativity in the making of their art,” indicates Jean-Christophe Chartrand-Gauthier of the organizing committee. Outside, producers and artisans who can satisfy your taste buds with gourmet products that you can eat on site or take home. “

These companies were chosen from among several proposals by a selection committee because of the space available. “This is an opportunity to encourage local buying and local talent. “

In addition to allowing this discovery of local talent, the Christmas Market could welcome new customers in the area. “We are going to pick up people from Ottawa, Tremblant and Montreal to come and see the region,” says Mr. Chartrand-Gauthier.

Entertainment is also planned throughout the Christmas Market, in particular with the presence of Santa Claus on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition, the site will be animated every day by songwriters, storytellers, a choir and crafts activities for children.

In addition to this animation, the project also provides for three specific cultural activities. First, on December 3 at 8 p.m., spectators will be able to attend a performance by the group La Tuque Bleue. The following week, on December 10, the group Le Diable à 5 will perform in front of the church at 8 p.m.

On Saturday, December 4 at 4 p.m., people will be able to learn more about the Christmas holidays with a talk by historian Pierre Lahoud.

In addition, once again the Brewers of Montebello got involved in the project by developing a new beer that will be offered from November 11. This is a caramelized beer with 6.2% alcohol to warm up visitors to the market who will be outside.
