“Monsieur Dupond-Moretti is agitated on stories that are 40 years old or that are of the order of fantasy”, said the deputy Rassemblement national de la Somme Jean-Philippe Tanguy on Wednesday August 3 on franceinfo. He was reacting to the accusations of the Keeper of the Seals who notably recalled, before the National Assembly, the anti-Semitic remarks made in the past by the founder of the National Front (former name of the National Rally) Jean-Marie Le Pen.

By making such accusations, Eric Dupond-Moretti “do not fight the anti-Semitism which unfortunately strikes more and more strongly our compatriots of the Jewish faith”points out the deputy RN of the Somme. “The National Rally and Marine Le Pen have absolutely nothing to reproach themselves for in this area”assures Jean-Philippe Tanguy, who insists that the page has been turned by his party.

However, he concedes that Frédéric Châtillon and Axel Loustau are close to Marine Le Pen. Both are accused of anti-Semitism and even of being of neo-Nazi persuasion, but the deputy for the Somme recalls that they “have absolutely no responsibilities at the National Rally”. “I have never seen them in my life”he replies.

As for Alain Soral, also mentioned by Éric Dupond-Moretti during his declarations at the Palais-Bourbon, he is a “absolutely uncompromising enemy” of the extreme right party, specifies Jean-Philippe Tanguy. “Mr. Dupont-Moretti would do better to deal with people who spread hatred”concludes the deputy, who takes in particular the example of Imam Hassan Iquioussen, threatened with expulsion by Gérald Darmanin who says so “close to the Muslim Brotherhood”.
