Seven months after the release of her first project for the Bravo Musique label, rapper Parazar does it again with seven new songs from Monolovewhich begins with a show of force entitled Medellin. Calibrated to perfection, the restrained trap production of the accomplice composer and DJ Fifo, the prosody of the musician who swings in the chorus: ” Hamdoullilah we have God like back-up / I have the flow which everyone agrees on.” The title song follows gently, on an amapiano rhythm, then Parazar borrows a few tricks from the stars of French rap by daring two songs on piston dance-house rhythms, Dr. And To insanity. The text is chopped up on the latter, but it is set to music that reflects its North African roots, as on the excellent BLA bla next, that the rapper and singer displays her singularity, which goes well beyond the commonplaces of French rap. A collaboration with Rymz (On me) and the elk house garage of Cloud offer a delightful finale to the mini-album.
