More than 30 years after the disappearance of Lydie Logé in Orne, Monique Olivier will be heard on Monday March 11 in this case, reported Tuesday March 5, France Bleu Normandie, confirming information from RTL. It is Corinne Hermann, the lawyer for Lydie Logé’s sisters who confirms the information to France Bleu.

Aged 75, the ex-wife of Michel Fourniret will be heard at the cold cases center in Nanterre. Already sentenced twice to life imprisonment, Monique Olivier has been indicted since 2021 in this case for “complicity in kidnapping and kidnapping followed by death”.

“Elements on the murder scenario”

Corinne Hermann knows it: “We are still waiting for them [les individus mis en cause dans une affaire] give us information on their involvement or even on the murder scenario […] We always expect a lot from them and we often get a little.”. The lawyer hopes at least that Monique Olivier “will indicate the circumstances of the kidnapping”. It would be, according to her, “a step forward since Michel Fourniret [qui avait reconnu les faits] not here anymore”.

This last “had made it clear that Monique Olivier was present”, Corinne Hermann therefore hopes that Monique Olivier “provides information on his presence, on the scenario and perhaps elements allowing us to find the body of Lydie Logé”. Lydie Logé disappeared in 1993 in Orne. The body of the young woman, then aged 29, was never found. Michel Fourniret was indicted in 2020 in this case.
