An accused facing families who have been waiting for answers for decades. Monique Oliver, the ex-wife of Michel Fourniret, will be on Tuesday November 28 before the Hauts-de-Seine Assize Court for complicity in the deaths of several women.
The trial of Monique Ollivier, the ex-wife of Michel Fourniret, who died in 2021, will open on Tuesday November 28 before the Hauts-de-Seine Assize Court. She will be tried for several acts of complicity in the murders of her ex-husband. “She has already been sentenced twice for complicity, including once to life in prison with 28 years of security”recalls Michelle Fines, news specialist. “She was complicit because she got the young girls into the car, she helped to reassure them, sometimes she helped Michel Fourniret to rape, she went to scouting locations and she was also sometimes there when the bodies were buried.”
Involvement from the first murder
According to Michelle Fines, Monique Ollivier is “a lonely, bored woman”Michel Fourniret will therefore take advantage of this situation to make a pact with her: “He promises to help her take revenge on her former husband and regain custody of her children, in exchange for help in capturing two young girls”. From the first murder of Michel Fourniret, Monique Ollivier was allegedly involved. “She helped the young girl get into the car, she helps Michel Fourniret, she goes all the way”noted Michelle Fines.
