If some of these people are really in need, others will be able to give this money to organizations that are content with your crumbs.
That said, your checks (which — serendipitously — arrive before the holidays) will certainly stimulate the consumption of unnecessary things, which, it seems, is not ideal in an inflationary period. Why not consult the economic brains around you to see if anyone had a social project likely to mobilize people (other than the third link, a tax cut or the economic exploitation of natural resources)? So thank you, Mr. Legault, for your check that I will give to people who have greater and more essential needs than mine.
