The Quebec goaltender took second place alone in the history of the National Hockey League with a 552^e victory, Monday evening. He signed his 74 in passing^e career shutout in the Minnesota Wild’s 5-0 win over the New York Islanders.

Tristan Jarry made 22 saves to help the Penguins end the Kraken’s nine-game winning streak, which was a team record.

The Seattle team, which was playing the fourth game of its trip to the East, did not generate much offense against the Penguins and Jarry signed his fifth shutout of the campaign. Drew O’Connor also scored in the victory.

A shutout for Swayman against the Devils

Jeremy Swayman made 31 saves in his third straight start to help the Boston Bruins shut out the New Jersey Devils 3-0 on Monday.

Swayman, who was selected for the All-Star Game on Saturday, recorded his third shutout of the season.

David Pastrnak and Charlie Coyle scored, while Trent Frederic added an empty-net goal.

Coyle opened the scoring 30 seconds into the second period with a backhand shot.

Pastrnak doubled the Bruins’ lead on the power play early in the third period.

Brad Marchand had two assists and Pastrnak also had an assist on Coyle’s net. Pastrnak has 61 points this season, which places him third among the NHL’s top scorers.

Frederic completed the scoring with 78 seconds left in regulation.

Nico Daws blocked 33 shots for the Devils.

Alex Killorn plays hero in overtime

Alex Killorn scored in overtime and the Anaheim Ducks erased two two-goal deficits to defeat the Florida Panthers 5-4 on Monday.

Killorn, who had ended a streak of 12 games without a goal earlier in the match, closed the books in the 48^e second of the extra period.

Adam Henrique had a goal and an assist for the Ducks, who trailed 2-0 and 4-2 before handing the Panthers a second straight loss. Troy Terry and Jakob Silfverberg also found the back of the net for the Californian squad.

John Gibson added the victory to his record after making 30 saves. Henrique stopped his streak of goalless matches to 11.

Sam Bennett, twice, Sam Reinhart and Carter Verhaeghe made the red light shine for the Panthers. Anthony Stolarz blocked 21 shots.

Reinhart scored in the seventh straight game for the Panthers, who lost captain Aleksander Barkov late in the third period.

A second shutout for Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen

Ukko-Pekka goaltender Luukkonen stopped 27 shots, Casey Mittelstadt had three points and the Buffalo Sabers blanked the San Jose Sharks 3-0 on Monday.

Luukkonen recorded his second career NHL shutout, and his second this season, to give the Sabers their fifth victory in their last eight games. Mittelstadt, Alex Tuch and Jordan Greenway all scored for the Sabres.

Kaapo Kahkonen made 32 saves in net for the Sharks, who have lost two games in a row and 14 of their last 15 – their only victory during this period was acquired last Thursday, by a score of 3-2, against the Canadian of Montreal.

Mittelstadt opened the scoring at 11:34 of the second period, after taking a veiled shot by Kyle Okposo that couldn’t be stopped by Kankonen. It was his 12^e net of the countryside.

Tuch doubled the Sabres’ lead two minutes later on the power play. He accepted Jack Quinn’s pass and fired a one-timer that fooled Kahkonen. Tuch collected his 12^e goal of the season, and Mittelstadt was his other accomplice.

Greenway completed the score into an empty net with 3:26 remaining in the game. Mittelstadt got an assist on the sequence.

Flyers beat Blues 4-2

Owen Tippett scored the game-winner with 5:33 left in regulation and the Philadelphia Flyers beat the St. Louis Blues 4-2 on Monday night.

The Flyers have won their fourth straight game and five of their last six outings.

Tippett scored his 16^e campaign net on its 10^e shot on goal of the game to give the Flyers a 3-2 lead.

Joel Farabee added an empty-net goal with 53 seconds left.

Scott Laughton and Ryan Poehling also scored in the victory and Carter Hart stopped 28 pucks.

Oskar Sundqvist and Brandon Saad scored the goals for the Blues. Goalkeeper Joel Hofer made 38 saves.

Laughton beat Hofer 1:03 into the second period, ending a 10-game scoreless drought.

Sundqvist found the back of the net on the power play to tie the score late in the period. Brayden Schenn, who competed in a 900^e career game in the NHL, picked up an assist on Sundqvist’s net by creating a rebound for his teammate.

Poehling gave the Flyers the lead again with just 6.2 seconds left in the second period.

Saad took advantage of a return of his own shot to make the score 2-2, after 1:18 of play in the third period.

The Kings return to winning ways by beating the Hurricanes 5-2

Trevor Moore scored twice and the Los Angeles Kings ended an eight-game losing streak by beating the Carolina Hurricanes 5-2 on Monday.

Phillip Danault, Alex Laferriere and Pierre-Luc Dubois also scored for the Kings, who scored four goals in the third period. The Kings had not won since December 27, against the San Jose Sharks.

David Rittich stopped 30 shots for the Kings. Vladislav Gavrikov, Mikey Anderson, Matt Roy and Danault all had two assists.

Jordan Martinook and Jack Drury scored for the Hurricanes. Antti Raanta blocked 20 pucks, before giving way to Yaniv Perets with 14:14 remaining in regulation. In his NHL debut, Perets knocked back a shot.

Danault’s ninth goal of the season gave the Kings a 2-1 lead, 1:01 into the third period. Laferriere doubled his team’s lead less than two minutes later.

Dubois made it 4-1 with his ninth goal of the campaign.

Martinook scored in three straight games for the first time in his 10-season, 602-game league career.
