Without shaking, AS Monaco qualified for the semi-finals of the Coupe de France on Tuesday February 8, beating Amiens (2-0). Well launched in the game thanks to an early goal from Aurélien Tchouaméni (5th), the Red and Whites provided the essentials against one of the last two residents of Ligue 2 still in contention.
While in control, Philippe Clement’s players gradually established their domination, before doubling the lead shortly after returning from the locker room. On a decisive pass from the very young Maghnes Akliouche (19), who was celebrating his first start in the competition, the German Kevin Volland sealed the outcome of the meeting (54th).
