Monaco does not smile at Lance Stroll

Quebecer Lance Stroll had another difficult day at the Monaco Grand Prix, finishing 20th and last after being forced to retire.

Stroll damaged his vehicle on lap 53 after hitting a wall twice. It must be said that the circuit was very slippery, after heavy rain fell on Monte-Carlo during the last third of the race.

“There were a lot of things that we had to go through. I had a brake problem at the end and I think that contributed to hitting the wall and not being able to stop the car at the right time,” Stroll said in an interview after the race.

This is the second time this season that the Aston Martin driver has had to abandon a race. Stroll was unable to complete his day’s work at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix last March.
