Mona, the police dog allows several drug seizures

Mona’s role was decisive in the drug seizures and arrests at the beginning of the week in Saint-Nazaire, Trébale district. This is how the police present things. This Tuesday, an anti-drug operation is therefore launched, route des Frechets, with the dog of the narcotics brigade. First stop, a well-known drug outlet.

The lookouts take refuge in an apartment

The dog marks the first time with insistence in front of the door of an apartment where lookouts took refuge when the police arrived. As they do not answer, the police force the door. Inside they find 119 sachets of cannabis resin intended for resale retail (i.e. 274 grams), 1,670 euros in cash, a precision scale and a cutting knife. The tenant and three young men aged 22, 23 and 30 are arrested.

In cellars and in a car

They then descend into the cellars where they discover about 50 tubes of cocaine for a total weight of about 80 grams. In the crowd, Mona stops in front of a car parked in a parking lot. Inside there are two sachets of cannabis resin, a half-bar of 48 grams of the same drug, a precision scale and a loaded automatic pistol. The owner, a 24-year-old young man who lives in Guenrouët is stopped in turn.
