Wednesday April 10 at 9 p.m., Paris-Saint-Germain hosts Barça at the Parc des Princes for a quarter-final match of the Champions League. The last meeting between the two clubs at this stage of the competition dates back to the 2014-2015 season. Barça then largely dominated the Parisians. For several days, Catalans have been trolling the French capital on social networks.

The Mona Lisa wearing a Barça jersey, a hot air balloon in the colors of the Catalan club flying over the Seine… The FC Barcelona community manager is full of inventiveness to ward off PSG. Enough to increase the tension between the two clubs and their supporters.

Produced using artificial intelligence, the first montage shows Mona Lisa dressed in an FCB jersey, at the Louvre museum in Paris, in front of a crowd of visitors photographing her. In the second montage, a hot air balloon unfurling the Barça crest hovers above the Seine in front of the Eiffel Tower to the applause of passengers on a riverboat.

Last publication, Tuesday morning: the traditional sticker battle in the club’s colors is shared in images on the social network.

No official reaction from the Parisian club. On the other hand in his last press releasethe Collectif Ultra Paris (CUP), asks “a total and collective mobilization” supporters facing “this ignoble Barcelona”. “Let’s ignite our legendary Parc des Princes, let’s be merciless”concludes the press release which instructs supporters to wear the red and blue tunic.
