Moments of pork with the producers of the Beleslou Farm in Cagnotte

For three generations at the Beleslou Farm in Cagnotte in the Pays d’Orthe, we have been producing duck in sustainable agriculture, but also Gascon black pork in total freedom. A more than local breed of pig that offers fine, marbled meat.

The flagship product at Ferme Beleslou is “lou loum”, pork loin confit in duck fat. Slow cooking in duck fat makes loin exquisite, itself enhanced with white beans cooked in Gascon sauce. Valérie Legrand our producer and her son Bertrand explains everything about this typical product by listening to the program of the day.

At table !

La Ferme Beleslou is also a farm inn! An excellent table with only products cooked with the productions of the farm. An inn which, despite the lack of duck due to avian flu, still offers very nice menus.
