Almost 6 years after the death of Johnny Hallyday, Taulier fans are still delighted. Recently, an unreleased song by the late artist was revealed. Recorded in Santa Monica in February 2017, the title A shout presents him alongside the musician Yodelice. During the broadcast 8:30 p.m. Sunday from November 19, 2023, hosted by Laurent Delahousse, David Hallyday spoke about this unexpected discovery.
Indeed, the rocker’s eldest was obviously unaware of this project. “I did not know”he first said before continuing: “but that’s good, we have to get things out”. “It’s good to perpetuate, he has such an incredible career, I think it’s good to release things and then I say one thing, it’s as long as it pleases his fans, the people who ‘have followed since the beginning, I think it’s great”, he added. Enthusiastic, Laura Smet’s half-brother nevertheless assures that he does not know if other unpublished titles will follow. “You have to ask those interested, it’s not me who released it.”
