A discussion between the American and French presidents had challenged the observers. Emmanuel Macron had told Joe Biden asking the Head of State of the United Arab Emirates that he wanted to see him increase his production. The French president would like to see Saudi Arabia produce an additional 3 million barrels a day to bring down gasoline prices. The Saudi crown prince has been accused of playing a role in the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and would like to see its image restored to the international community.
