They filmed themselves to, they say, “denounce the conditions of their mobilization”. In two videos taken at the same time in a train station, these men say there are several hundred in the Belgorod region, near the Ukrainian border: “The first day, when we arrived here, we slept outside in the rain. 90% of those who are here are sick”. Angry, they say they have just been mobilized and run out of everything: “Nobody needs us. We have no preparation. We eat what we buy ourselves. We spent a lot of money, if only to eat, not to mention the equipment”. Some weapons would have been distributed in disorder. They seem out of date.

In Russia, several mobilized say they had to buy bulletproof vests or first aid kits themselves on the Internet. Following the publication of these shock videos, these men would have finally been sent to the south of Russia, on a training ground, says one of them on social networks. To counter these staining images, the army continues to publish videos of new recruits in training, where everything is going well. Asked by France Télévisions, the Russian Ministry of Defense did not respond.
