Quebecer Abraham Toro is about to move from the Seattle Mariners to the Milwaukee Brewers.
According to ESPN reporter Jeff Passan, the Mariners would send Toro and outfielder Jesse Winker to Seattle on Friday afternoon in return for second baseman Kolten Wong and $1.75 million in cash.
The transaction is reportedly about to be announced.
If that happens, the Brewers would be the third team for Abraham Toro, who was traded for the first time in July 2021. He was then traded from the Houston Astros to the Mariners.
In 109 games in 2022, the 25-year-old Longueuil resident hit .185, with 13 doubles, 10 home runs and 35 RBIs.
