Mladenovic and Garcia win women’s doubles

The French Caroline Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic won the Roland-Garros women’s doubles tournament this Sunday in three sets (2-6, 6-3, 6-2). The two Frenchwomen have knocked down the Americans Coco Gauff, already a finalist the day before in singles, and Jessica Pegula. Garcia and Mladenovic, who had not played doubles together on the circuit since 2017, reformed their winning pair Fed Cup 2019 and Roland-Garros 2016.
