Miss France 2025: A Glimpse into Jade Fansonna’s Journey
The much-anticipated election for Miss France 2025 is set for December 14, 2024, and a total of 30 talented young women will be vying for the prestigious title. Among these contestants is Jade Fansonna, a vibrant 22-year-old who proudly holds the title of Miss Guyane, which she earned in July during an event in Cayenne. Jade is no stranger to the competition; she previously participated in 2023, where she was honored as the first runner-up alongside Audrey Ho-Wen-Tsaï, who claimed the title of Miss Guyane 2023. This upcoming competition marks Jade’s exciting return to the stage.
In her introductory feature on TF1, Jade expressed her determination, stating, “I came back this year more motivated than ever with the goal of bringing the crown back to Guyane.” She candidly shared insights about the challenges ahead, her experiences during the Miss preparation trip, the causes she is passionate about, and her personal interests in an exclusive interview.
Jade’s Experience in Côte d’Ivoire
When asked about her reaction to the Miss preparation trip being hosted in Côte d’Ivoire, Jade shared her surprise and excitement: “I never thought I would set foot in Africa. When we arrived, I recognized my Guyane. It’s the same climate, the same atmosphere. There are similarities; it feels like home while being different.”
This year’s theme revolves around dance, particularly the Miss ball. Jade reflected on her expectations: “I imagined something calm, in long dresses and soft music like at a ball. But I think there is something else being prepared, and I can’t wait. I’m not afraid of the choreographies because I have rhythm in my blood even though I haven’t taken dance lessons.”
Another exciting aspect of the trip is the opportunity for contestants to select their own outfits. Jade views this as a positive development, stating, “I think it’s a very good initiative because it gives us freedom of expression; it allows us to show who we are and to say more about our personality. It helps us get to know each other.”
Jade’s Motivation and Advocacy
Jade’s journey into the world of pageantry began when she was inspired by Alicia Aylies’ victory in 2017. “I really started to take an interest in the Misses when Alicia Aylies was elected. I felt like I recognized myself in her,” Jade recalled. Her participation last year, where she achieved first runner-up, reinforced her love for this realm, leading her to return with renewed determination.
As a potential titleholder, Jade is passionate about child protection, a cause close to her heart. As a new school teacher, she understands the importance of advocating for the well-being of children: “I would like to focus on child protection because I am in direct contact with children, and I realize that child protection is the primary cause I want to defend. It’s something that really touches me.”
When she’s not preparing for the Miss France competition or teaching, Jade enjoys various hobbies. “In addition to my work, I am in my second year of a Master’s in Education. Outside of that, I really love music. I listen to it a lot; it’s a way for me to escape. I also love dancing and cooking.”
