The hatred continues… Two weeks after her coronation at Miss France, Ève Gilles continues to receive hundreds of hateful messages, written by people furious that the young woman had allegedly “stolen” the title from Miss Guyana. Many Miss France viewers criticize the recipient of the Miss France title for having obtained the crown thanks to the jury, even though viewers had only ranked her third, and had preferred Audrey Ho-Wen-Tsaï. But the rules are the rulesand even if the public vote prevails over that of the jury, Ève Gilles nevertheless managed to obtain more points than her rival, and narrowly beat her.
On TikTok this Sunday, December 31, 2023, Ève Gilles posted to her subscribers the magnificent low-cut dress, sequined blue, that she chose for New Year’s Eve. But inevitably, the one which once again allowed the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region to win the sash, for the fourth time in eight editions (Iris Mittenaere, Camille Cerf and Maëva Coucke also represented the North), faced a wave of large-scale harassment, with hundreds of people insisting on accuse her of having stolen the title of Miss France from Audrey Ho-Wen-Tsaï…
Miss Guyana here, Miss Guyana there…
“We still want Miss Guyana” East a comment that has been liked more than 28,000 times, and all the other distressing and insulting comments were also extremely relayed by the young woman’s haters. We can notably read, among them: “Hello Miss Guyana”, “We love you Miss Guyana”, “Yeah yeah, Miss Guyana the best”, “I’m still waiting until the end of 2024 for Miss Guyana to take your place”… Fortunately, a few beautiful souls wanted to remind us that the rule was the rule, and that Ève Gilles deserved her coronation: “You talk about Miss Guyana but our Miss is incredible”, “She is super beautiful, why are you criticizing her?”, “Who do you think you are to criticize her, I find her very beautiful”…One thing is certain, this Miss will have a very media-filled year 2024much more than its predecessors Indira Ampiot And Clemence Botinowho were very discreet during their respective years of reign.
