Miranda Lambert is fed up with disrespectful spectators

Miranda Lambert adds to the list of stars irritated by certain problematic behavior of spectators; exasperated by admirers taking selfies during her performance, the singer momentarily stopped her concert to call them to order.

The country artist performed at the Bakkt Theater in Las Vegas last Sunday in the grand premiere of his concert suite dubbed Velvet Rodeo. The latter obviously did not like to be disturbed during her interpretation of Tinman.

In a video captured by a spectator and quickly going viral, she can be seen abruptly stopping singing and talking about the behavior of these embarrassing spectators while taking the crowd to witness.

“These girls are worried about their selfies and not listening to the song. It annoys me a bit. I don’t like this at all. We are here to listen to country music tonight”, can we hear him say to the public who applauds.

The video has racked up 2.4 million views on TikTok since it was posted on Monday.

From Quebec to London

Last May, Quebec conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin had to pause the music of the Philadelphia Orchestra twice when the telephone bells started ringing during the show.

“Can we live without a phone for an hour?” the irritated maestro said during the second forced intermission. The artist then confirmed to the media that he had heard no less than four rings that evening.

Internationally, singer Adele also shared her annoyance at the lack of etiquette from onlookers at a recent gig in London.

Referring to the new “fashion” of throwing objects at performers on stage, the British star appeared armed… with a t-shirt gun! “I dare you to throw something at me,” she warned the crowd, half-seriously.
