The news spread like wildfire: just a few days after its opening in “ soft », the Miracolo was on everyone’s lips. A Friday evening in early February confirmed it for us: restaurant veteran Richard Holder’s new project has taken off strong. And this is probably only the beginning.
For a while now, Holder, to whom we owe other successful places like the Majestique and the Darling, dreamed of an “Italian-style Majestique”. With his precious allies, the designer Thomas Csano, whose rococo/retro/eclectic aesthetic is recognizable among thousands (Majestique, Darling, Le Petit Dep), the executive chef Alejandro Vega (Darling, Majestique) he succeeded in creating what has already established itself as a must-see on Saint-Laurent Boulevard, right next to Schwartz. The trio is completed by chef Pierre Morneau, who previously officiated at jjacques, in Quebec.

The wine list is rather classic and is likely to improve over time.

The menu is presented in the form of delicious small dishes of vegetables, fish, fresh pasta and meat; Everything we tasted there was flawless, in a 100% Montreal atmosphere, with a certain something of electricity in the air. For snacking, the unmissable oyster bar and an “Appetizer” section (the crispy Bimbo pizzas are irresistible): there is something here to satisfy many palates and desires.

To quench your thirst, the liquid menu is for the moment quite short and rather modest – a few cocktails, a selection of wine established by the general manager of the place, Edoardo Stirano, – – but we have no doubt that it will improve. with time. Either way, Miracolo is certainly the perfect place to discover these days to party with friends! P. -S. : we are whispered that the establishment, already in action 7 days a week from 4 p.m. until late, will be offering lunches and brunches very soon!
