(New York) Minnesota Wild forward Ryan Hartman has been suspended for three games for his unsportsmanlike behavior following the Wild’s overtime loss to the Vegas Golden Knights last Saturday.
After the Golden Knights scored the winning goal into an empty net in overtime, Hartman, from the bench, threw his stick onto the ice while shouting at the officials.
He received a 10-minute game misconduct.
Hartman is considered a repeat offender under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement and will have to forfeit more than US$62,000 in salary during his suspension.
