Minnesota Vikings | Injured, Patrick Peterson will miss at least three games

(Minneapolis) Minnesota Vikings cornerback Patrick Peterson was added to the long-term injury list on Monday with a hamstring injury against the Carolina Panthers. As a result, he will have to miss at least three games.

Head coach Mike Zimmer said he didn’t believe the injury would end the 11-year veteran’s season. Peterson should therefore be back somewhere in the second half of the season.

The Vikings (3-3) are on leave this week, but the absence of their best cornerback will be felt for a series of games facing formidable quarterbacks after the break. They will face Dak Prescott (Cowboys), Lamar Jackson (Ravens), Justin Herbert (Chargers) and Aaron Rodgers (Packers) in their next four duels.
