Mimie Mathy could not hold back her tears. For the first show of the 38th edition of the Enfoirés charity tour, Mimie Mathy couldn’t be more moved on stage! The reason ? The volunteers wanted to pay tribute to the actress of “Josephine, guardian angel” for her great return to the band after several years of absence.
And for good reason, while in 2022 a health problem had prevented the latter from joining the troupe, in 2021 the tour had been canceled due to the health crisis!
This year 2023, Mimie Mathy did not miss the call… And on stage, the actress even gave a very moving speech : “There is the family that we have and we have the family that we create, and the Enfoirés for me, it’s a superfamily”, she declared in front of the spectators present and in front of a dozen volunteers who all wore a printed t-shirt on which one could read the inscription “I Love Mimie”. A t-shirt that Amel Bent, Slimane, Carla Bruni or even Vitaa wore to wish Mimie Mathy a good return to the troop. A gesture that upset the main concerned who burst into tears on the stage.
A real joy
Asked before the Enfoirés took the road to Lyon to perform from January 12 to 16 at the Hall Tony-Garnier, Mimie Mathy had confided to Télé-Loisirs: “I am happy to find my friends again and to leave for a very intense week, but rich in reunions and sharing. I am also looking forward to meeting the public again”. Mutual impatience!
