Wealthy states had to dispose of 240 million expired doses of Covid-19 vaccines. France alone threw away 218,000.
In a landfill, whole cartons of anti-covid vaccines are thrown away in Nigeria because they are expired. Waste is likely to repeat because stocks are piling up as the pace of vaccinations slows.
