In the final, he faced his great rival Ikuma Horishima. However, the Japanese crashed heavily after landing his first jump.

This is a 72and victory and a 102and career podium for the athlete from Deux-Montagnes.

On a course that was not to his advantage, given the small size of the bumps, Kingsbury nevertheless managed to get away with it.

Horishima and Olympic champion Walter Wallberg completed the podium.

Another victory for Anthony

Among the ladies, it was the Olympic champion Jakara Anthony who took the top honours. In the final, she defeated another Olympic champion, the Frenchwoman Perrine Laffont.

Anthony still leads the general classification thanks to his three victories and nine podiums obtained in 10 competitions this season.

It was the American Jaelin Kauf who finished on the last step of the podium.
