Mika back in “The Voice”, after the announcement of TF1 the singer is loose on Instagram

Good news for fans of Mika: the former coach will be making a comeback in “The Voice” on TF1! As the channel announced on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, the famous singer will indeed appear in the current season, during the “super cross battles” which will take place on May 20. Mika has been asked to take on the role of “super coach” to help the candidates prepare for the big evening which promises to be decisive.

If Vianney Amel Bent, Zazie, Bigflo & Oli of course retain their roles as jurors, Mika will have an additional power since he will be able to vote for the talents who, according to him, have stood out. Thus, when the talents have each performed their two songs of the evening, the public and Mika will be able to vote and the latter’s vote will count for 10% of the final result of each Super Cross Battle.

Mika lets go and shows his joy on Instagram
If he had to keep his unprecedented participation secret, Mika can now let go and talk about it without restraint. A few hours ago, he made an announcement on his Instagram account: “Already more than 5 million streams! Thank you for the welcome and support! So happy with the path of this duo with friend Vianny. you Saturday in The Voice to celebrate and perform together!”.

The singer evokes here his new song called “Keep it simple” which is none other than a duet with Vianney! The two coaches have obviously succeeded in quickly conquering the public since we learn that the title has already been downloaded more than 5 million times on streaming platforms.

Coach in “The Voice” since 2014, Mika had said goodbye to his red chair in 2019 to focus on his other projects that pay him big. “It’s true that I felt good there. But I knew very well that I was going to leave and the team of The Voice too. We had just agreed together that I would not say anything. Out of respect for this program that I love it so much, for the smart smart people doing it, I let them advertise things their own way.” he had confessed in the columns of the Parisian.
